Dr. Alan Maloon

Dr. Alan Maloon is a Board-Certified Neurologist. He completed his residency in both internal medicine and neurology at Johannesburg General Hospital in South Africa. He then completed a three-year neurology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. Dr. Maloon has been practicing as a neurologist since 1989. His areas of interest include chronic headaches, multiple sclerosis, and seizures. He also treats conditions such as chronic neck and back pain, and fibromyalgia. Additionally, he sees patients with Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and memory impairment. Dr. Maloon is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, and the American Headache Foundation.

GARY BOWEN PA-C

Gary Bowen earned his degree from the military’s interservice Physician Assistant Program and The University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he obtained a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Additionally, he pursued postgraduate studies in Emergency Medicine at Nova Southeastern University. Currently, Gary is pursuing a doctorate in Medical Science with a focus on Medical Education at Lincoln Memorial University. His doctoral thesis centers on the treatment of traumatic brain injuries.


As a Major in the Army National Guard, Gary has undertaken multiple combat tours throughout his career. Bringing a robust background in orthopedic spine to Hope Neurology, he is committed to delivering empathetic neurological care to patients dealing with various issues such as concussions, headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, memory loss, and concentration issues.

LADAWNNA LINNEAR, MPAS, PA-C

LaDawnna Linnear is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in neurology at Hope Neurological & Medical Services. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. Her journey to medicine started in 2016 when she enlisted in the United States Army as a combat medic. After leaving active duty in 2020, she attended Morehouse School of Medicine where she obtained a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. LaDawnna specializes in neurology, treating post traumatic headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, tinnitus, and problems with memory loss and focus. Additionally, she works in the urgent care setting, treating a vast array of illnesses and injuries. LaDawnna is dedicated to the advancement of neurological care and achieving overall optimum health for her patients.
