• Licensed Physicial Therapist – WI Dept of Safety & Professional Services required if providing services in Wisconsin upon hire and
• BLS Tier 1 – Basic Life Support – Multisource required upon hire

Job Description:

The Medical Scribe is responsible for assisting the physician in a hospital setting by performing transcription of clinical information.

Job Requirements:

Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being described and performed by the physician, including but not limited to:

• Conduct preliminary assessments of physician’s new and follow-up clinic patients.
• Write admission notes and orders for physician’s patients admitted into the hospital.
• Write outpatient orders, including those for chemotherapy, IV fluids, transfusions, growth factors, etc.
• Assist with physician’s clinic-related paperwork.
• Assist with physician’s miscellaneous clinic activities.

They are responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders, including stroke, dementia and neuromuscular diseases develop a treatment plan for patients after diagnosing a disorder or condition.
